Zaman International School (ZIS)

Zaman International School was founded in 1997 by Mr. Atilla Yusuf Guleker and currently has an enrollment of more than 900 students. ZIS is certified by the Cambodian Ministry of Education and it is a member of CIS (Council of International Schools).

From 1997 to 2005 the school was housed in two attractive purpose-converted buildings situated in a convenient central city location in street 71 off Mao Tse Tung Blvd near the junction with Monivong.

ZIS High School is located in a distinctively modern building next to the Russian Embassy, in Sangkat Tonle Basak. The Kindergarten & Primary as well as the University are in the Toul Kork region in wonderfully functional buildings without standing facilities specially designed for their respective students.

Our new century needs extraordinary individuals, and the country will be shaped by them. Meeting the challenges and opportunities of an interdependent world will require versatile intellectual competence and uncompromising commitment. Those who are to thrive and contribute to this world will have a solid sense of who they are, and respect for who others are as individuals, as members of a group, as citizens of their nation, and as members of the global community. They will have had a rigorous academic preparation and a passion to become the best they can be and to help others achieve their best. The mission of Zaman International School is to develop such individuals who are committed to these goals.

Zaman International School will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, national and ethnic origin, age, religion, gender or disability in the administration of its educational policies, admission, scholarship, athletic and other school-administered programs. ZIS practices a full non-discriminatory policy in all school-administered programs.
